About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

72 Hour transit to Beijing

I am flying to sydney to Beijing then from beijing to seoul, but its not on the same ticket, the beijing to seoul flight was booked separately, do i need a visa for that or can i use the 72 hr transit? the flight is actually 5 hours apart, so i need to enter beijing, get my luggage then chekc in for my flight to seoul. thanks

Hi, you can use the 24 hr direct transit in Beijing as you will stay in there for less than 24 hours. No visa is needed.
