About:Chinese Consulate in Brisbane

Will we get our visa directly at an appointment?

Hallo there,
me and my friend are currently in Australia and willing to fly home to germany over Christmas and New Year’s Eve. We will fly with China Southern starting in Cairns with a stop in Guangzhou for 6hrs and 25mins and a stop in Beijing for 23hrs and 55mins to Amsterdam. Our trip back home for Christmas starts at the 21st of December.
We are worried that an application per mail is to late now and wondering if we would get our transit visa with double entry directly at an appointment in Brisbane.

Hi, as I know, you don't have to make an appointment for the application of Chinese visa. Don't worry.

We are worried that the application per mail will need too much time now which means that we wouldn’t get our passports back and the visa early enough..

Hi, usually, the processing time is around four working days if you have all the right documents. Besides, you could also apply for 2 or 3 days express service for that.
