About:Guangzhou Travel Guide

Find Hotel in Guangzhou

I will be having a one full day stop over in CAN China arriving on Dec. 24 and leaving on Dec. 26, 2017. I plan to use their Metro to travel. My questions are:

1. Where is a transportation convenience place to book a hotel?
2. Any inexpensive to moderate price hotels you can suggest?
3. Any recommendations on where I can visit for one full day?

Well, you can stay near Yuexiu Park, which is near to Haizhu Square, Canton Tower. You can pay a visit to places mentioned. Besides, as I know, there will be celebrations for Christmas in Chime-Long Paradise, and you can also pay a visit there.
Hotels recommended: 7 Days Inn in 270 Middle Huanshi Rd, Yuexiu District, Yutong Hotel in 286 Middle Huanshi Rd and Taicheng Hotel in 239 Xiaobei Rd, Yuexiu District.
Transport:
To Haizhu Square: take metro line 2 directly there.
To the tower: take a taxi within 15 minutes and it may cost CNY40 or so.
To the paradise: walk south for 10 minutes to Xiaobei station of line 5, take line 5 and transfer to line 3 at Zhujiang New Town. Get off at Hanxi Changlong and leave from Exit E, walk northwest for about 10 minutes, you will get there.
