About:Prohibited Items

Flying from hong kong back to Fuzhou and am wanting to take allowed amount of 1500 ml of alcohol.

When I arrive in china will they look inside my checked bag when it comes off the plane?

Rachel, for drinks less than 12%, there is no strict limit of the amount. It would be ok to bring some. They must be taken in check-in luggage.

You can only bring no more than 1,500ml of wine with alchoholic level over 12%. The part more than 1500ml will be taxed and the taxed rate is 50%. Also, it can only be put in the check-in luggage.
