About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

24h stay in Beijing for two portuguese passport holders

Hello,
we are two portuguese passport holders and we'll arrive in Beijing on the 4th January at 7AM and depart back to Lisbon at 1AM on the 5th - total stay 18h.
In this case all we have to do is show our outbound flight at the airport so we can get a 24h permit?
We don't need to do anything else in advance?

Thank you!

Hi, I'm afraid you cannot get the 24 hour direct transit as Portugal-Beijing-Portugal is not a transit. You are supposed to apply for a visa for that.
