About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Can I have visa free transit in both directions.

E.g. London to Shanghai then international flight.

Inbound - International flight to Beijing then London.

Thanks

Andrew, you can use the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing and Shanghai if your total layover time is less than 24 hours. Otherwise, you need to apply for visa for that beforehand.
