The distance between Deshengmen and Forbidden City is not far. Thus you are advised to stay at a hotel nearby Forbidden City. The surrounding city-bus and subway are convenient. Wangfujing Jade Hotel is recommended. It provides clean environment and warm service. The price is CNY 200-300 per night.
