What is the best transportation to get to the hotel?Train Express or Shuttle bus? Thank you for your attention and help

Train will have been out of service by then, and you may consider taking the shuttle bus. Take Xidan Night Line and get off at Yabao Road. Then the hostel will be around 3.5km away. Take a taxi to reach directly.
