About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Hi .. I want to ask do I need a transit visa if I stay for less than 24hrs in Shanghai airport.

I am holding a Yemeni passport and travelling from Malaysia to South Korea

Yes, you need it for Shanghai airport because you cannot use the free transit policy in mainland China.

You should first prepare passport and the copy, the application form, 2 passport-style photos, transportation arrangement to South Korea, and valid residence permit in Malaysia. Next, submit the application to the CVASC.
