About:China Transit Visa

Canceled flight and moved 2 days backwards

Hi, I am a Filipino citizen holding a US permanent resident status and my flight got canceled. From 6 hour layover time, it became 54hrs and I want to get out of the airport (chongqing). After that will be flight to guangzhou then straight to LAX. Do I need to apply for transit visa? I already have my application form for chinese visa ready. Where do I submit this? Hoping for your fast response thank you.

Hi, you need to apply for transit G type for that. You should submit the application to the China embassy in the Philippines.
