Do I need to buy tickets in advance for Panda Breeding & Research Center?

Hi, I'm travelling to Chengdu to see the pandas in 2 weeks and I was wondering if I needed to buy tickets in advance or can I buy them at the entrance? Is there any advantage to buying them in advance?

Personally, it is fine to get a ticket at the entrance. And go there early in case of long queue.

Thank you Jenny! I see the panda sanctuary opens at 7.30am, when you say we need to get there early, do you think we'd need to go before then? Thank you!
