About:How to Travel to China without a Visa

Do I need a visa to go outside of Shanghai PVG airport when im transiting true China?

Im a Srilankan Passport Holder currently studying in United States and I ll be transiting through China to go back to my country for a vacation. So my transit time is around 18 hours . Can I go outside of the airport and see the Shanghai city ?

Thisaru, you need to apply for a transit G type for that.
