budget hotels for shopping around guangzhou railway station, yide lu, beijing rd.

Question

1.For retail shopping for clothing/textiles, leather/handbags/travelling bags, household equipments, electronics, we were advised to concentrate on  areas around the 3 stations (GZ Railway  Station, Yide Lu, Beijing rd). Could you suggest some conveniently located budget hotels appropriate for an elderly couple?2.Near which subway/metro/railway station can I find traditional Chinese Halal food (including street food stalls)?

You may consider the Baiyun City Hotel near the railway station. It is within walking distance to the clothing markets nearby. I'd recommend Lanpu Road to you for halal food. It is near to exit B2 of Yuexiu Park metro station. However, I heard the market or stalls are only in service on Fridays, 11:00 - 16:00. Hope you can catch it!
