About:144-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Does a return flight qualify?

Can this option be used is i want to fly from Los Angeles to Shanghai and return back to Los Angeles (or San Francisco). ie i just want to spend a couple of days in China without having to get the visa?

Hi, you cannot enjoy the free transit policy for Los Angeles-Shanghai-Los Angeles or San Francisco because it is not a transit.
