Transit visum required for multi transit?

Hi,
I fly from Amsterdam to Melbourne with two stops in China (Hangzhou and Guangzhou). Both transfers are less than 5 hours and therefore the total time in China will be less then 24hours. Im not sure whether I have to leave the transit zone to collect and check in my luggage again. If that is the case, do I need a transit visum?

Hi, the multi-stop domestic transit is banned by Guangzhou immigration. So you cannot use the free transit in mainland China if you travel like that. You are advised to apply for a visa for that beforehand.

A transit G type will be fine for that.
