24 hour TWOV for Guangzhou and Beijing

Me and my family will be transiting through Guangzhou and Beijing before heading out to our final destination which is berlin.

Here is our flight itinerary: Manila- Guangzhou-Beijing-Berlin

Total transit time is less than 10hrs in China

Guangzhou is the first point of entry in China.

Do we need a transit visa?

Guangzhou does not allow multi-stop transit in mainland China anymore. So you need to apply for a visa for that beforehand.

Yes. A valid Transit G type will cover your trip of Manila- Guangzhou-Beijing-Berlin in mainland China. No need to worry!

Transit G type is for persons who are staying for a short period while in transit between two other countries. A Chinese tourist L type will allow you to visit mainland China for longer time.

So regardless of how many domestics flights we take within China/multi-stops, a Transit G will be sufficient?

Im so paranoid when it comes to entry permit. 😓

That's correct. For Filipinos, G type applications have fewer requirements and cost less.
