Nov 11-15 1st time visit to Fujian. Tips please.

Hi.Me & my husband are planning to visit Fujian on Nov 11-15.He will attend a conference on Nov16-17.What's the transpo to and from airport?Around the city?Where can we stay which is convenient to good food,night markets, shopping and culture?Can we go to Taiwan?What's the transpo, how much and how long? Thank you so much.

I guess you will go to QZ in Nov.? Since Fujian is so large that I can’t give you suggestions about the hotels and transport.
First of all, you are suggested to stay near Zhongshan Street, which is a famous business street and many attractions are around, including Temple of the Queen of Heaven, Kaiyuan Temple and Guanyue Temple. Many hotels are around like Home Inn in 10 Yiquan Street, Shuman Hotel in Yiquan Street and Super 8 Hotel in 169 South Wenling Rd.
To the street, you can take Bus K603 to Xingfu Jiekou and then walk southwest for 10 minutes to get there.

As for to Taiwan, of course you can pay a visit. You can take a flight directly to Taipei Taoyuan Airport. The fare is changeable, you need to check by yourself.
