Chinese man in Irish carehome

So I work in a care home and we've just had a Chinese man move in and his English skills aren't great, in order to make him feel a bit more at home are there any tips on how we could present ourselves to him in order to make him feel well respected and at ease in our home? As we aren't too sure how to adopt to his customs in a care home setting.

If possible, you can decorate his room with a traditional Chinese style, such as put some Chinese style handicrafts. In addition, you can also learn some Chinese dishes. I think he will be happy if he taste the home-style flavor. Hope helpful!
