About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Do I need to register at police station?

Hi, I just arrived in Beijing and got the 72 hours visa transit. I checked in ag the hotel, they scanned my passport and stamp. However they did not spoke english very well and they did not understand when I asked if that would be enough regarding the free transit policy, if they would inform the police.

I just would like to know if I should be concerned and go to police or not?

If they copied your passport and stamp then everything will be fine. No need to worry or go to the police.
