About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

Does the transit city count as third cournty?

If my ticket is yangon-bangkok- shanghai and on the way back shanghai-kuala lumpur-yangon, will I be given the free transit visa?

Hi, if you hold Myanmar passport and your layover time in Shanghai is less than 24 hours, you can make use of 24 hour direct transit if you travel like that, and no need to apply for a visa. Nice trip!

Thanks but I have a EU passport and I plan to stay in Shanghai for 72 hours so I am trying to figure out the flights accordingly.
