About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

transit permit on passport?

Do they stamp transit permit on entire page?/or just use portion of the page?

Stamped permits will take about half of the page while sticker-type permits will take an entire page. However, immigration agents will usually use a whole empty page. AFAIK stickers are only used in Shanghai, Nanjing and Hangzhou.
