train tickets from shanghai to hangzhou

At the end of the day, I would like to take a high speed train to Hangzhou. I am not sure what is more convenient if buy a train ticket by internet 20 days or buy directly when I am at Shanghai. I don't know if someone can give me kind advice.

For the train tickets, it is better you book them in advance in case they are sold out when you arrive in Shanghai. You can book either G train or D train, both of them are high speed bullet trains. Sometimes the travel time for D train is a bit longer, so you are suggested to book G train if available.
