Dear Sir,Madam,I am Associate professor at Hamadan University. I am invited to collaborate in some research in DENTAL school, Guangzhou Medical University, Guangzhou for one year. My question is what documents do I need to get visa.warm regards,Dr.Soussan Irani

Hi, you can try to apply for an F type for that. You should prepare the relevant documents: your passport and copy of its data page, a completed application form, and 2 passport-style photos taken recently, proof of your financial support, an invitation letter from the school, round trip air tickets, as well as other documents the consular officers consider necessary.

You should submit the application directly to the Embassy, and you don't have to arrange an appointment for that. No need to worry!
