so I want to visit macau to see my boyfriend for short period of time. Am i eligible to visit Macau or not? What documents do i need to provide to immigration ?

Hi, you cannot enjoy free entry to Macau, so you should apply for a visa in advance to enter Macau for that. You should prepare the required documents including copy of passport, the filled-out application form, 2 passport-style photos, bank statement, hotel reservation, flight itinerary and travel plan.
