Hi, is December good time to go mt huashan? any parts of the place will be close?

It is ok to visit Mt. Huashan in December but it is not the best time. The temperature will be very low, especial on the mountain top, normally around -8C to -12C. Besides, some of the dangerous passes such as Plank Road might be closed due to the heavy snow. If you travel at that time, you are suggested to check the weather forecast beforehand and wear warm clothes and comfortable sports shoes to climb the mountain.2
