72-hour transit VISA

My husband and I are US Citizens flying from South Africa to Singapore. We have a 13-hour layover at Beijing International Airport and would like to go see the Great Wall.

Is it possible to get a free transit at the airport? Where do we go and what are the hours?

Thank you!

Hi, you can make use of 24 hour direct transit in Beijing, and just apply for a free temporary stay at the airport, then you can leave there to explore the Great Wall. Nice trip!
