About:240-Hour Visa-Free Transit

Cruise with departure and arrival in Shanghai

We fly from Amsterdam to Shanghai, stay there 2 days and cruise to Japan for total 6 days. Then we arrive in Shanghai again, stay there another 2 days en fly home (Amsterdam). Is this within the 144 hour free transit criteria because we stay 2 times in Shanghai each time 48 hours. Or do we need multiple entry visa.

Hans, you can make use of the 144h free transit in Shanghai in both ways. Nice trip!
