About:China Visa on Arrival

Taking a Cruise Ship departing from Shenzhen

I am a Philippine passport holder and I plan to join a cruise tour departing from Shenzhen. Do I need a visa even though I will be staying for some hours only until the Cruise Ship departs? And if ever I will be granted an entry permit before I board the Ship, do I need another VOA for me to go to the airport for my return?

Thanks

Hi, you need to apply for a visa for Shenzhen. If will be granted one with double entries before you board the ship, there is no need to apply for VOA for your return in Shenzhen.

Thanks Vicki. But do I need to secure an entry permit in my home country or upon arrival in Shenzhen?

Thanks

You can call Luohu Port to see if you can get a Shenzhen VOA, and here is the telephone: (0755)82324022. If you can get it doubtlessly, you don't have to apply for visa in your home country for that.
