About:24-Hour Visa-Free Transit

17 hours stop in Beijing

Hello, I'm going to Israel from Australia through Beijing. I will have stop of 17 hours in Beijing. Do I need visa? I also want to go out from the airoport and explore the city a little.

Yulia, you don’t need it because you qualify for the 24 hour direct transit in Beijing. You can just apply for a free temporary stay permit at the airport and then you can go to explore the city.
