About:China Customs Declaration

Plant protein powder

Do I need to declare my personal prescription medicines and plant based protein powder at customs in Shanghai? I have been told no and yes.

Yes, generally speaking, you can bring these items if they are only for your personal use. However, you should not bring too much. If possible, you can bring several prescriptions or other certificates with you.
