Is this 72 hours visa any good?

Uk citizen visiting Hong Kong. Want to visit Beijing for 3 days, and back to HK before going back to UK.

It says clearly that the 72-hour visa-free transit is for those in transit. Since you are not in transit, you are not eligible and must hold a regular visa.
