French citizen - training 4 months in FaWang Temple

Hi, I want to go for 4 months train shaolin at the FaWang temple (January to April). The temple will issue me an invitation letter for that time period and I will also stay at the temple. Which type of visa can I apply for? Is it possible to get a X2 (student) or a F type?
