Reclining buddha in Baodingshan

I am planning a trip to the caves but I have read somewhere that the reclining buddha is currently under renovation and can not been viewed properly. Is it still worth while going? Any idea when the renovation will be finalized?
Also is it possible to take a public bus from Baodingshan to Beishan? If not, how much does it cost by taxi?
And how do I get from Beishan back to the bus station to go to Chongqing?

Yeah, it is under renovation, and won't reopen to the public in a few years. So you cannot see it recently. Anyway, you can still go and enjoy other buddhas like Thousands Hands Guanyin.

No direct bus is available to Beishan, so you can take a taxi instead. It takes arouind 15min and CNY30-40. After visiting, still take a taxi to Dazu Bus Station to take a bus to Chongqing.
