About:Shanghai - Suzhou High Speed Train

how do I get to lingering Garden from the Hongqaio State Guest Hotel in Shanghai.

I would like to take a day trip to Suzhou taking the high speed ride. Where would I have to take the train, staying at the above hotel, and where would I get off. Thank you

Your hotel is closer to Hongqiao Station, you can walk to Shuicheng Rd, subway station and take line 10 to reach the station. From there, you can take high speed ride to Suzhou Railway Station, the main station. From there, you can take subway line 2 to Shilu, and then walk about 1km to Lingering Garden. Or you may take bus No. 85 from the South Square to the garden directly, the 5th stop. Taxi is also OK.
