We will be staying in east nanjing rd. Where attractive/historical/shop. places may we visit around?

You can go to the Bund, Yuyuan Garden, and People’s Square.
To the Bund: walk east for about 10 minutes, you will get there.
To Yuyuan: take metro line 10 directly there.
To Square: metro line 2 can take you there.
