About:72-Hour Visa-Free Transit FAQ

i will arrive at Beijing at 6:35PM and my next connecting flight is not til the next day at 6:55PM

I am Philipine Passport holder i have a USA green card Do i need a chinese Visa if i have to go out the airport? i will be staying at a hotel.

Megan, you need a visa for that for you cannot enjoy free transit in Beijing.
