About:Badaling Great Wall

Hi, I would like to get your advise on the method to travel from Sanlitun to Badaling Great Wall.

Then from the Great Wall to Ming Tombs, and lastly from Ming Tombs To Sanlitun. I would also like to know whether is it possible to visit all the above spots within one day?

From your hotel, it is advised to take a taxi from Sanlitun to Deshengmen Bus Station. The distance is around 10 kilometers. The cab fare would be around CNY 30. After that, take bus no.877 and get off at a bus stop close to the pulley car lower station which is about 10 minutes' walk to the entrance. The whole trip takes around an hour. And the bus fare is CNY 12 per person. Please note that the last departure from Deshengmen is at 12:30.

In addition, about your travel plan, the time is tight. In order to save time, you can hire a car from Beijing downtown and return back.

Thank you for your reply. Very helpful indeed. So just to reaffirm, that means from Deshengmen to the Wall, the journey using bus no. 877 only takes around an hour? Besides, If let's say i do not rent a car for my trip and I wish to travel from the Wall to Ming Tombs by bus, how long the journey takes from the Wall to Ming Tombs? Thank you.

Yes, the journey of taking bus no.877 takes around an hour.

About the transportation from there to Ming Tombs, you can take bus no.879 and get off at Dingling Tomb directly. I remember that the duration is about 1.5 hours. And the ticket fare is CNY 8 per person. Besides, the operating hours are from 09:30 to 17:30.
