Buy Train Ticket Online or at Shanghai Station

i want to go to Xi'an from shanghai on 1 december this year, should i book it online or buy it at Shanghai station? Can you give me a trusted website to book china train online. thanks

Both are OK, it depends on the ticket availability. You can check the availability on this website often (30 days within departure). If there are limited seats left for the one you need, you'd better to submit the booking request online in advance.
