Huanglong closing in winter

Hello, I am interested in visiting sometime between mid-October and early December this year. I have heard that the scenic area closes in winter sometimes due to icy roads. Does anyone know when it usually closes in winter?

Generally speaking, it may be closed from Dec. to next Mar.
