About:Shanghai - Huangshan Train

How to figure out which train to take to go to Hangshuan from Shanghai?

I'm planning to go to Yellow Mountains this December. I've never been to China so I have no idea on the how tos and what not. I also am eyeing on booking a hotel already there called Cheng Jin Hotel, which was known for its good location near the bus station.

May I ask how do we get to Yellow Mountains using the bullet ride? How long will it take? Where will we book it to, Hangshuan or Hangshuan North? From the railway station, how will we travel to our said hotel?

For high speed rides, you need to use the North Station. The duration is around 4 to 4.5 hours. After your arrival, you can take a bus at the bus station nearby to Tangkou Bus Station. The bus would take around 1 hour or so. After you reach the bus station in Tangkou, it is easy to reach your hotel.

I am not sure when is the last bus to Yangkou, some says 7pm and other says 8:30pm. If you reach Huangshan in late evening or night, you may need a taxi to Tangkou instead.
