About:Year of the Ox

65 and wondering. I'm a Leo dragon. Aug 5 1952.

Had a bad medical outcome from oral surgery last dec 29 of 2016. Ill to this day. Think I almost have died. Trying to get well. Lonely with no family but have great faith.
Met a man today who is a 1949 Aries ox. He has had a very hard time as I have had. It would seem we are miss matched. Could we be more than friends? As we are older or will the mismatch hold true even in older people? Thank you. ( he and I are both Christian but I am Catholic) and yes, I do think that astrology can help us avoid problems.

Alara,
You were born in a year with Water element. Last year and this year have Fire elements, so it didn’t go well for you. It is heartbreaking to hear what you went through, with so much pain and suffering. You are indeed extremely vulnerable, because of your loneliness, but you could get into bigger trouble if you are mismatched with a man you are not supposed to be with, from an astrological point of view. Fine, the two of you have similar religion and share the same culture, which I have to admit it is a plus. Yet, our Compatibility Table shows that Dragon and Ox cannot get along. Even if we analyse the situation that the two of you are in, and we may be tempted to say yes, we do have to admit that astrology says no. The two of you have better chances to be happy, if you part your ways right now, and dismiss a relationship with no future. Next year it will be your’ opposite year, so my advice to you is to try and wait for better times ahead. You will need time to heal your physical wound, which takes years, and concentrate more on yourself. It won’t mean you are selfish. It is just self-preservation in action. Good luck to both of you.
