Huangshan 2 days one night trip

Four of us plan to go to huangshan from hangzhou on 28 Dec n intend reach about noon time n stay one nite either at tangkou or Tunxi n will go to mount huangshan for a day tour on the 2nd day , n go off to shanghai by train at nite
Q1) which is the recommended mode of transport from hanzhou to huangshan ? By bus or train n which station ?
Q2) Which is more convenient , to stay one nite at Tunxi or tangkou ? Day 1 plan to go to old streets n nearby attractions .
Q3) is that easier to get a day tour to mt huangshan which include pick up from hotel , to railway station n luggage storage n how much will it cost for 4 of us ?
Q4) is that necessary to book ticket in advance for soft sleeper in train back to shanghai on 29 Dec ?

You are suggested to take a bus from Hangzhou West Bus Station to Huangshan Tunxi, which takes about 4 hours and CNY90.

You are suggested to stay in Tunxi. Old Street and Longshan Temple are recommended.

You can take bus from the bus station to the mountain, and it takes about 70 minutes, CNY20.
As for day tour, you can ask the hotel you live, they may arrange that. It may cost CNY200 in total.

You don’t need to book the ticket in advance, by the way, the trains leave at 20:08 and 22:16 to Shanghai.
