About:Jieyang Chaoshan International Airport

Can I catch a taxi from Jieyang airport to my hotel in Meizhou?

I will be arriving at airport about 8:30pm on a Thursday.
How long will it take by taxi to my hotel (Huangjia Mingdian) in Meizhou?
How much will the taxi fare cost for two passengers?
Do I have to book a taxi before I arrive at Jieyang airport?

As I know, it takes about 2 hours and CNY280-300 by taxi. By the way, in your case, it’s a little hard to find a taxi for such a long distance and the driver may charge high on the spot. You are suggested to book a taxi in advance.

In addition, there is a bus at 10:00 and 16:00 to Meizhou from the airport. So you can also stay in the airport for a night, and take the bus next morning. There is a Tianpeng Hotel in front of the airport.
