About:Jiankou Great Wall

Is it possible to take a bus from Beijing, walk from Jiankou to Mutianyu.

And then get a bus back to BJ in one day? Or is this too much?

Do you have any good suggestions for hikes in the area that we can do in one day, and still be able to catch a bus back to BJ?

Hi, Matt, according to your travel plan, your time is not enough. You'd better have 2-3 days to walk from Jiankou to Mutianyu and tour around Mutianyu Great Wall.
In general, you can spend one day climbing only one part, such as the north part (Nine-Eye Tower to Beijing Knot), middle part (Beijing Knot to Jiankou Spot) and south part (Jiankou Spot to Ox Horn Edge Wall).
Hope helpful!
