About:China Visa

Hi, my son has Serbian passport and we live in the UK and have a temporary residents cards.

There's a trip to China organised in his school for students every year. The agency that is dealing with visas said that he will most likely be refused. As far as I know Serbian citizens don't need visa for China since January 2017. Why do we have problems now?

You are right. Serbian passport holders can enjoy free entry to China for a stay of not exceeding 30 days. I don’t know why the agency said that, but I don’t think you need to worry too much because you haven’t got the result yet. Just give it a try and wait for the result patiently.
