Is it possible to do Emeishan in a day? Depart Chengdu early in the morning and return in night.

Yes, it is possible to do it in a day, but the schedule will be a little tight. High speed rides are available between, the trip takes about 1-1.5 hours.

How to get to Shuangliu Airport
There is a railway station called Shuangliu Airport Station set up on the Chengdu-Leshan-Emeishan Intercity High Speed Railway. The station is located at L3 Channel, -2F, Terminal 2 of Shuangliu Airport. Travelers can take the ride from Emeishan Railway Station to the Shuangliu Airport directly. The duration is about 1 hour to 1.5 hours and a second class seat costs CNY56 per person.
