ferry from zhongshan to hong kong china ferry port

Question

How long is the trip?  Do I purchase tickets ahead of time on CKS online or is it ok to wait until I reach the ZhongShan Ferry Port and purchase the day of - looking to purchase 16:00 passage on 10/19/2017?  Where can I find a description of the classes - economy (is there seating for all ticket purchasers - is it indoors, first and VIP)?  Thank you!

The ferry journey takes around 70min. It is fine to book the ticket in advance or get one on the spot, because there won't be many passengers. So it's up to you. I can just tell you that the economy class seats are on 1F, while the first class on 2F with better view. Also the first class cabin can be more capacious.
