About:China Travel Tips

Do I have to declare anything?

Bringing in 4 Michael kors purses. Total value 640$
Lancôme moisturizer400ml 40$
Many snacks for personal use! Chocolates/ Chips /candies/maple syrup etc. milk powder 550g. I will be there for a year or more. (Estimated value 0f all snacks 150$)
400 cigarettes and 750ml of whiskey.
Will I need to declare anything?

1. You don't need to declare 4 Michael kors purses and Lancôme moisturizer. But you should put them in your checked luggage. The limitation is 5000 USD. Don't worry.
2. Chocolated, Chips, candies will be ok. For maple syrup, you can only take small amount of them. And you need to put them in checked luggage.
3. You can only take two cartons of cigarettes with you and more cigarettes should be placed in your luggage.
4. Yes, you can bring 1.5 L whiskey in your checked luggage. So don't worry.
