About:China Civil Aviation - Regulations & Security Check

Are you allowed to have some cosmetics in carry on and then also in checked luggage?

Is the rule one of each? For example- one prouduct of foundation, mascara, moisturizer?

Yes, if the value is within 2,000RMB but is all for personal use, you can put some cosmetics in the hand luggage. But you should notice that the the liquids should be less than 100ml each bottle.
