Do I need visa enter (Baoshan) port of Shanghai at 6:00AM, leave at 10:00PM same day via cruise ship

As Canadian do I need entry permit if cruise ship enter in Baoshan port of Shanghai at 6:00AM; cruise ship leaving Baoshan port of Shanghai at 10:00PM in same day? Thank you.

Wendy, you don't to apply for a visa in advance if you will go to a third country or region different from the last one you come from after transiting in Shanghai. Nice trip!
